"It's a small world but i wouldn't wanna paint it"

The title is the nick of the very creative kak Maryam. Oops sorry that's her nick last time in IRC! (GOSH! Is that a long time ago or what?!) Kak Norzamaria to be exact. She's very creative. And fun to be with! actually i had almost forgotten how fun she was until when she msg me in MSn one day to ask for my add to invite to her wedding.

And then we talked and talked hehehe.. she read my blog and i read hers... Hers was very funny!! but the link is at the office can't cut n paste here since im at home now.

And anyways after reading my latest entry in the blog about the hari raya thingy she commented "Wow! U nearly got married!" in view of my concern for my friend's reaction when i told them the news, she shared with me her story...

She had known this guy in IRC before, at first he seemed very nice and baik But then he was a tad too suspicious and secretive... Like not telling the real him, his qualification da da da da... And later she got to know his fiance was her friend...

The next time she saw her friend, she told her that she's filing for a divorce... He's a wife beater, a liar (still chatted like crazy talking to girls saying his single and stuff)

the MORAL OF THE STORY: It is better to break off an engagement rather than marry then regret and get a divorce. After all, engagement is the time that we got to know more about our spouse to be. We hafta change our society's mindset where they think that it's not NICE to break off an engagement. Like jgn sakitkan hati dia ker apa ker gitu... It's gonna be a life changing decision but we gotta just do what we think is right, period.
