Stop it!

Ok Julissa! Stop fantasizing! Wake Up baby!

Stop surfing www.misatravel.com.sg or www.fascinating.com.sg for all those wonderful holidays you cant afford. I'm not even talking about Dubai or Melbourne... I'm just talking about a 3D2N to Bintan/Bangkok. it costs freaking min $500 per person lah!

You see... i just realised that for this Pakistan Trip of which the flight is about 7hrs long... i WONT HAVE my hubby with me!!!!! How sian / irritating is that?! I mean its not like i travel for more than 6hrs every year you know... and the one time that i CAN and WILL be going to, i dont have my hubby with me... I know i have accepted the shortened trip readily... but this realisation just keeps me down, man.

Furthermore, last night when we were at the airport, he kept saying, 8th dec here i come... and it'd be only HIM and WE/US... so frustrating.. i feel so... singled out!

And btw, after the shortened trip and - 2 half days due to eve of PH, i have 2 extra annual leave for the year!!!

So i thought i'd go for a short getaway with Zubair before 8th Dec so i wldnt feel so lovesick hehehe...

The best i could find was $238 per pax for 3D2N at Sunway lagoon. I cant even raise the total amount by end Nov.

The thing is.. i wanna spend an extended weekend with him but i dont want it to be like last weekend where both of us got SUPER bored. so a trip to M'sia, i tot was achievable... But doesnt look like it... Ok, i can opt for a 3* Stanford Hotel ... BUt???? All the way to KL to stay in Stanford? I dont know man...

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *pulls hair*

Im pretty sure Zubair thinks i'm a crazy woman now.

Yeah thought of Cameron also but i think the hike up in NOv/Dec a bit dangerous right? and i suppose 170 is low season's rate.

But its ok lah... my mum and hubby advised against it... I was just indulging in fantasy...

Well that is what the original juice is all about, the ups and down of a mixed marriage.

What you perhaps didn't know many Pakistani and Indian wives were left behind by their enterprising and adventorous husbands.

You know, the mamma rojak at Tampines, oncedid told us he has been away from his wife ijn India for 6 months. Now he will go back to India to meet his wife, while his brother , from India will come down to run his rojak stall for the next six month..

They are running an 6-month rotating shift man....so whats the problem wif you...crying...like a baby over 8 days of separation or even over 30 days of separation.

Number of single mothers were wseparated for years if you wanna know....and there was no fight between them...just feel like been separated.

A lady neighbour in our old home in Tampines, wanted to sent her son to hospital...my wife and I helped her out...while her husband was a taxi driver...but we seldom see her husband at home...she was like a single mum too..

But occassionally I do see him at the car park...we smiled but had no seroius long conversation.

My observation is that many Pakistani wives too are been left behind by their husband who own shops in Singapore. Some return to their wives for only a month in a year.

Umar Al-Khattab, when he was the Caliph, restricted the husband from going to expedition for more than 4 months as he understood the needs of wives for their hubby, that was because the companions of the prophet used to go to war expedition for many many months, some perhaps for years and forgotten to return home...

I am not saying you cannot be sad about it, but be moderate in everything.

As Xub said in some of the sections of your blog...you can have him with you for all the other months...why quarell over one month of his desire to be with his friends in Pakistan.

On the other hand as what was advised by Umar the Caliph...a husband should learn to live his life with his wife and learn to be separated from your friends...

There will be a time in our life that we have to say goodbye forever to friends and even parents...especially if you have to stay in other country.

Imagine the lifestyle of a wife of the Prime Minister, etc.. who had to be left very often at home while the hubby always attend to the people...

How can a husband succeed if the wife always want him by her side.

Yup, u mentioned to me that sat night... it seems unfathomable to me right now... I guess their Iman/faith is stronger. and i appreciate that you give a balanced view. Thank you :)

I watched a Discovery Channel show the other time, and there are 2 astronauts who are living in the space station and havent got back in MORE than 4 years!!! *faint*

What....!! 4 years. That extreme I oso cannotr tahan....No joke aside....

It has to do with self disiplin.

Success only come with sacrifice. If you don't or dare not make sacrifices, there will be no hope for success.

Ustaz zakariah spent 6 years in Jordan, too long, until he had to bring his wife and 3 children up there with him...

He mentioned the stressful life and training he had there....

But...alhamdulillah...you know the success story also don't you, that he is now the best Quran Teacher in Singapore. he leah the Jemaahtul Qurra, i.e. Association of Quran Reciters.

Not only he is the best Qari, he memorizes the whole Quran in 14 ways of reading it.

He also teaches us the meaning of the verses of the Quran and the history behind it etc...etc...

Quite unfortunate, that he is preoccupied by too many Malay speaking students. Last 2 years he had only one English speaking students who also understand and speak some broken Malay.

Singapore should benefit him by intoroducing him into the English audience.

He really really reads the Quran very very well. Many thimes I broke into teras listening to his reading.

Despitre many controversial questions posed to him, he kept his moderate approach.

Jussaemon should also learn to be moderate. Do not over expressed your feelings, emotions, frustrations, anger etc.. otherwise you could end up like that blogger who was charged in court....

No...no...no...he was charged in court at Causeway Point or Bukit Timah, but at Subordinate Court and then was prisoned.

Be a moderator with the intentions to bring your readers towards ALLAH.

ALLAH said in the qURAN, wHOSE WORDS ARE BETTER THAN ONE WHO CALL PEOPLE TO ALLAH...!!!!?

If not, the blog will blog you from entering the paradise already reserve for you.

WOW! 30 juz or 600+ pages x 14 diff ways to read it? That's equal to memorising 8,400 pages! Masya'Allah... Subhanallah.

I shall remember to be moderate. if i really wanna "hentam" somebody, i'll write on my private blog! haha
