Sengkang LRT is terrible!!!!!!!!! $%^%&*^*$%^@#$@#
There are two berths at the train station. and there are 4 choices of routes u hafta choose from, east loop, west loop, going to Renjong or going to Ranggung.
To make things worse, Before 3pm, trains 1 & 2, are on platform A, Trains 3 & 4 are on platform B. But after 3pm, trains 1 & 2 trade places with trains 3 & 4. I totally DONT get it tau!!
Why couldn't they have made it simpler?
NONSENSE
Zubair and i headed to Cik Aziz's house in Sengkang for Sarina's Cukur Rambut / Shave Hair. It is a religious obligation to cut the newborn's hair, weigh the hair against the rate of gold and donate to the poor.
(Zubair said they sometimes use rate of silver. Is that true??)
I asked my mum, "How come the other Malay families make such a big event out of this Cukur Rambut?" Tradition. *shake head*
11 glasses of Juice:
Hey! I live in Sengkang OK! (well, not right now, but... you get what I mean). Don't say our LRT's ^!%@^%#&^!%.
Anyway, I think they had to do it like that cause we have two loops (unlike the one at Bukit Panjang) and it combines with the Punggol LRT so it all gets confusing. They have to trade trains in the afternoon becuase it makes it easier for people going to work in the morning and going home at night. They use the same trains.
Dear Daughter Julissa
As you know that now i have a newborn girl baby born on 30.10.2007 at Pakistani time 12.24 PM in Ittefaq Hospital Lahore. On Sunday dated 04.11.2007 we are going to shave her hair to fulfill the religious obligation. Name of my child is KASHMALA AJMAL which mean gaskate of pearls. I would also like to inform you that Zubair gave a Azan through mobile on her ears on 31.10.2007. Being a eldest of our next generation Zubair's Maternal Grand father ordered us that we should ask Zubair to offer Azan in the ears of a new born child.
Thanks
Your Mamooooooooooo

Assalam Jus Father.
It is indeed true that situation in Pakistan is unpredictable at the moment. You might wish to hold on and decide whether to go on the trip in a few weeks time.
Many countries have advised their citizens against travelling to Pakistan at this point in time.
For Singaporean, you may wish to contact the SIngapore Ministry of Foreign Affair to get their advice. Their number is South Asia 63797717 . Also remember to register yourself with the MFA should your family go on the trip so that they can provide you with assistance in the event of an emergency.
Thanks Anonymous.
I've heard that Musharraf declared Pakistan in an emergency state nationwide and is now under martial law. But that is till the election somewhere this month right?
BTW, Where r u from?
Dear Jus
Like yourself, I am a gal from Singapore married to a Pakistani. So I am always curious to read and know more about the Pakistani culture, people and life.
Inshallah, you will go to Lahore and have a beautiful wedding and enjoy the people and their hospitality there.
